Dear Club Members, family and friends,
As you know, Valencia, our beloved hometown, has been deeply affected by severe flooding, and many of our fellow Valencians have lost their most treasured possessions, jobs, businesses, and, sadly, even their lives.
As we begin to regain a sense of normality, it feels bittersweet; we are grateful to have come through safely, yet we grieve for those who did not.
I want to take this opportunity to thank you for all the messages of courage and support we have received over the past couple weeks.
I’m thrilled to share some exciting news: we’re FINALLY launching the first batch of Nachobursts in February 2025, right after the regular batch is shipped. We’ve received a tremendous response, with over 250 inquiries, and every club member who has shown interest has been added to our Nachoburst VIP list. For months we have been working on every component. We have developed our own pickguards, pickup rings, nickel plated brass hardware parts (saddles, thumbwheels, posts…), NAF pickups (Nacho Applied For), vintage spec 500k Nacho-pots, lacquer formulas, etc. Always using our original Burst collection as a reference and of course the help, guidance and support of our board of Burst gurus…
This initial run will only include 40 guitars, and we appreciate your patience as we work on the guitars which will be offered to the first 40 folks in the list. We are so pleased with the results that we plan to start the second Nachoburst batch immediately after the first is completed, which we hope to deliver in summer 2025. And after that there will be another one… So please bear with us as our goal is to offer this model as part of our standard lineup, with two batches per year, ensuring that no club member interested is left without a Nachoburst conversion!
Additionally, I’m pleased to inform you that we’ve secured a very limited stock of ultra-lightweight ash, cut in large blocks for creating one-piece bodies. We are very excited as we are all aware of how hard it is to find this wood this light and with these dimensions. We expect to produce a handful of Blackguards with this unique wood. If you are interested, please email us at info@nachoguitars.com, and we will include these requests for delivery in summer 2025.
Finally, we are excited to introduce a new line of snake-head style Nachoguitar Protos. This model will feature:
- Option for single or dual pickup.
- Choice of standard post-summer 1950 control panel routing spec or vertical bass style control plate (1949 style).
- 5″-thick ash body, choice of solid or chambered.
- Snake-head with 3 on-a-side tuners.
- Choice of with or without truss rod.
- Finished in the colour of your choice.
